11.23.09 Sunday~
So I went to sleep at, like……… 2.30 in the morning? And I needed to be at church at 10.15, but my ride was supposed to get there around 10, so I set my alarm for 9.30 because it doesn’t take me that long to get ready (I mean, I only took ten minutes to get out to the bus before it left my stop last year.) And that worked out because I’d still be getting about 7 hours of sleep. When does my mom wake me up? 8.30. Apparently, I take an hour and a half to get ready. Seriously? Yes. XD She’s going to some 9 o’clock mass for her catholic church, so when she leaves I get back in bed and expentantly wait for my alarm to go off.
So in church we keep having this magical game of “Simon Says” which mainly pertains to standing and sitting up. We have some pretty in-shape old people at my church. It took about every bit of my focus to keep myself from putting my head on Anastasiya’s shoulder and falling asleep. But I can’t because we’re positioned awkwardly RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE PREACHER. And oh joy, I get a nice, loud, vibrating text from my friend’s mom, saying she won’t be in church after we basically spammed all their phones trying to find out where she was. So, finally, church is over and I can come home and talk to Amanda and eat because I decided I wasn’t hungry this morning.
I’m excited for choir and youth tonight, just like I would be for any other sunday. it’s weird because I absolutely hated Sundays with a passion, I didn’t like going to church because I didn’t like the people or just the church in general. I mean, some of the people were really cool, the Youth Director was super nice, I love Amanda (different Amanda), but all the kids went to a different school. This church is great, almost everyone goes to my school, and I get along with them. (:
